About EWA | Empowering Women in Agrifood programme
Empowering Women in Agrifood programme supports women in their early-stage entrepreneurial path in discovering their potential, providing them with knowledge and access to a wide network of contacts to successfully set up and develop a sustainable business in the agrifood industry.
For 6 months EWA participants (Mentees) take part in dedicated trainings, workshops and events, while developing ideas under the individual supervision of a professional female or male Mentor. The EWA programme aims to reduce gender inequalities and gender differences in the agri-food sector thanks to education, comprehensive entrepreneurial support and equal opportunities for all. EIT Supernovas
EIT Food, EIT Manufacturing and EIT Urban Mobility joined forces to create Supernovas, an EIT Community programme to bring more women into the world of entrepreneurship and investment. Supernovas empowers women-led start-ups and future role
models for women in business while at the same time fueling talent to the next generation of women VCs and angel investors.
TeamUp
TeamUp is a 6-month programme that finds and matches up brilliant innovators with compatible and complementary profiles.
TeamUp provides important tools and support to build your startup including expert guidance, world-class training, mentorship, networking and funding. These new teams will be nurtured to create strong co-founder relationships with aligned purpose and values.
Sales Booster
Sales Booster is the custom-made programme empowering innovative startups to explore and enter new agrifood markets across Europe**.** It supports startups with training, coaching, expert advice, and network to prepare for their development and growth in new markets.
Startups can build an internationalisation action plan and explore new markets in Europe.
EIT Jumpstarter
EIT Jumpstarter is a creative community 8-month program. Organised by EIT Food, EIT Health, EIT RawMaterials, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Manufacturing and EIT Urban Mobility.
The objective is to help innovators and entrepreneurs build a viable business model around their innovative product or service idea, validate it and if their business idea is proven to be sustainable, encourage them to register their company.
