About EWA | Empowering Women in Agrifood programme
Empowering Women in Agrifood programme supports women in their early-stage entrepreneurial path in discovering their potential, providing them with knowledge and access to a wide network of contacts to successfully set up and develop a sustainable business in the agrifood industry.
For 6 months EWA participants (Mentees) take part in dedicated trainings, workshops and events, while developing ideas under the individual supervision of a professional female or male Mentor. The EWA programme aims to reduce gender inequalities and gender differences in the agri-food sector thanks to education, comprehensive entrepreneurial support and equal opportunities for all. EIT Supernovas
EIT Food, EIT Manufacturing and EIT Urban Mobility joined forces to create Supernovas, an EIT Community programme to bring more women into the world of entrepreneurship and investment. Supernovas empowers women-led start-ups and future role
models for women in business while at the same time fueling talent to the next generation of women VCs and angel investors.
Teams up
TeamUp matches leading technologists with entrepreneurial business professionals and supports them on their journey to co-create truly impactful agrifood ventures.
Sales Booster
We support startups with training, coaching, expert advice, and network to prepare for their development and growth in new markets.
EIT Jumpstarter
EIT Jumpstarter’s Red Kalyna recognises outstanding women entrepreneurs from Ukraine who have developed innovative products or solutions or have steered their businesses towards innovation. Every year, ten role models from Ukraine will be inducted into the Red Kalyna Hall of Fame and receive the "Red Kalyna by EIT Community" title.
