About me
Daniela Correia holds a degree in Food and Nutrition Science and a Master's in Biotechnology and Innovation. As a registered dietitian in Portugal, she combines her expertise in nutrition with a passion for food tech and innovation in the food industry. Since 2021, Daniela has been a project manager in the R&D and Incentives team at MC, the leading food retail company in Portugal. In this role, she fosters cooperation between MC and a wide range of entities from the Scientific and Technological System, as well as industry partners. Her work spans various project types, including product development, packaging innovation, and improving the sustainability of value chains. Daniela is involved in projects from initial development to consumer validation and real environment implementation, ensuring alignment with MC's innovation goals while addressing global challenges and contributing to the evolution of food innovation.
